Hands-free communication using your hearing aids

To use Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids as a wireless headset, you simply connect your hearing aids wirelessly to select Mac, iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro devices and select Android devices*. Then you can make or receive phone and video calls.

You will be able to hear the other people on your calls directly in your hearing aids, while your voice will be captured by microphones in your hearing aids, so everyone on the call can hear you.

If you have hearing aids that support the newest Bluetooth technology, Bluetooth® LE Audio, but do not have a phone that supports it, then the Easy LE Adapter will give you access to hands-free communication on your phone.**

Check if your phone is compatible

*Two-way hands-free communication with select Android devices is only available with Oticon Intent.

**Your phone must have a USB-C charging port in order to use the Easy LE Adapter. Most phones that have a 3.5 mm audio jack built into them will not support the Easy LE Adapter, as some phone manufacturers choose to route the audio through the jack port rather than the USB-C port.
The Easy LE Adapter is manufactured by Minami Acoustics Limited.

Streaming audio from your device to your hearing aids

Apple devices

All Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids are Made for iPhone® hearing aids. This means they can be used as high-quality, stereo headphones to stream audio directly to the hearing aids from iPhone, iPad, Mac and VisionPro.

You can also stream calls to your hearing aids from iPhone, iPad, Mac and VisionPro. If you have a compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac and VisionPro, and compatible hearing aids, you can enjoy direct hands-free communication — without using any other device. If not, adding ConnectClip will enable you to speak hands-free.

Android

If you have an Android smartphone that supports Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) and compatible hearing aids, you can stream audio directly from your phone to your hearing aids, including phone calls. Select Android devices that have Bluetooth LE Audio also allow for direct hands-free communication without using another device with Oticon Intent hearing aids. For Android phones that do not have Bluetooth LE Audio, the Easy LE Adapter can be used to stream two-way hands-free audio with Oticon Intent hearing aids. A ConnectClip can be used if you do not have a compatible hearing aid or Android device to speak hands-free. If your Android device does not support ASHA or if you have other hearing aids, you will need ConnectClip to stream any sound to your hearing aids.
