- Promotion Period/Sponsor: Oticon 2025 Focus on People Awards (“2025 Program” or “Award Program”) is conducted in two phases. Phase 1 “Call for Nominations” begins on 2/12/25 and ends on 6/16/25 (the “Nomination Period”). Phase 2 begins on 6/17/25 and ends on 8/22/25 (the “Voting Period”). Note that phase dates may be subject to change. The Voting Period will be conducted by a panel of hearing care professionals and Oticon customers (the “Oticon Advisory Council”). Nominations will continue to be captured year-round, however, the cut off date for nomination submissions for the 2025 Program will end on 6/16/25. The Award Program is sponsored by Oticon, Inc. 580 Howard Avenue, Somerset, NJ 08873 (“Sponsor”). The Awards Program is governed by US and New Jersey law. Void where prohibited. Dates are subject to change.
- Eligibility: The Awards Program is open to individuals with or without any degree of hearing loss who are: legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia, and are at least 6 years of age or older. Nominees under the age of 18 years require the written approval of a parent or legal guardian. Employees of Sponsor, its affiliated companies, and its advertising and promotion agencies and anyone involved with the Awards Program, and their immediate family members and those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win.
- How to enter: To be eligible for the Awards program, all completed nomination forms must be received during the Nomination Period. Nominations may be submitted on the awards website: oticon.com/FOP
- Nomination Criteria: Nominations will be screened by Sponsor’s staff to determine nominees’ eligibility. Sponsor will select, in its sole discretion, all nominees that meet such eligibility requirements and who appear to at least minimally meet the voting criteria. Eligible nominations will then be reviewed by the Oticon Advisory Council.
The Oticon Advisory Council will select three winners (each, a “Winner”) that meet the following eligibility criteria and most embody the spirit of the Award Program (i.e., making an exceptional, positive impact on the hearing loss community). Note: This number is subject to change, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, pending eligible nominations received.
- Nominees must be 6 years of age or older;
- With or without hearing loss, nominees should be making an exceptional, positive impact on the hearing loss community;
- Nominees cannot have previously won an Oticon Focus on People Award; and
- Winners must agree to participate in the Awards Ceremony as set forth and in accordance with section 7, below in order to be declared a “Winner.”
Upon notification of their selection, Winners shall be required to complete: (i) release forms authorizing Sponsor to feature their presence, name, and likeness in Sponsor’s external and internal announcements or communications and (ii) a W-9 or equivalent tax form. Winners who are children under the age of 18 will be required to submit a signed release form and applicable tax documents to be completed by a parent or legal guardian. All Winners must provide photos of themselves.
If a nominee is selected and cannot participate in the Awards Ceremony as set forth in section 7, below, the Oticon Advisory Council will select another nominee as a Winner in their place. Materials describing the Winners are provided to such Winners for review and comment prior to being posted externally.
- Voting: Voting will be conducted by the Oticon Advisory Council after the 6/16/25 submission deadline.
The official announcement of the Winners will be communicated via the Sponsor’s website at Oticon.com and in other media, at Sponsor’s discretion.

Hearing aids are for applicable Winners’ personal use and cannot be donated or otherwise transferred to another person or group.

Hotel and dining costs are also covered for the Winners. Only one hotel room is provided for each Winner.
Winners under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sponsor will cover the airfare for one parent or guardian to travel with Winners under the age of 18.
