More evidence shows a leap in performance

We used an advanced version of our pupillometry testing to evaluate the real-world effectiveness of Oticon More. To determine listening effort, changes in pupil size were recorded while participants were given complex tasks to solve while following conversations and replying to them over a sustained time frame.

Participants were asked to rate the sound quality of each of the hearing aids in several real-life sound environments. Oticon More was rated significantly higher than its competitors. In fact, up to 8 out of 10 people preferred Oticon More over its competitors when listening to conversations in scenes such as cafes, restaurants, and speech with a facemask.*

More speech

For excellent speech understanding, it is vital that the brain receives as much speech information as possible — especially in challenging listening environments. Therefore, we compared how much speech information each hearing aid provides in a noisy cafe environment. Talkers were positioned toward the front of the listener at a -15° angle, and toward the side of the listener at a -60° angle. Results show that Oticon More gives patients up to 20% more speech information than competitors in both scenarios.*
